Disney Hotel Cheyenne’s wild west adventure for the whole family

1 min read

Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne puts guests in the heart of adventure in a brilliantly themed Wild West town with a strong Toy Story vibe.

It is fun and, as one of the more affordable ‘onsite’ resort hotels, this place is very much about delivering the immersive experience of Disney at its best whilst also giving guests the convenience of being close to the theme parks.

Frontier adventures

At Cheyenne, young guests are thrust into the adventure within moments of arrival with a wild west indoor play area right in the hotel lobby - it can be a perfect distraction for children, and a relief for parent’s as they get organised at check in time.

Outdoors, meanwhile, the adventure takes on scale with the resort’s play fort and western wagons.

The keenest cowboys and cowgirls can even mount up, with pony rides (note, there’s an extra charge and this experience is ‘subject to availability).

Guests of all ages ought to also keep their eyes open for a unique meet and greet opportunity as Sheriff Woody and Jessie show up for a photo op!

No pool

Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne is not one of the Disneyland Paris resort hotels that has a pool, and neither does the nearby Santa Fe resort.

The other onsite resorts with pools are Davy Crockett Ranch, Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, Hotel New York Art of Marvel, Disneyland Hotel.

Nighttime at the saloon

Evenings at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne are just as fun and engaging as the daytime.

Guests will love the live entertainment at the Red Garter Saloon for adults, whilst perhaps enjoying a cocktail or two while taking in the lively country tunes in this Western-style bar.

There are also quieter evening activities, including movie screenings in common areas.

On-site shopping

The western-themed on-site gift shop offers everything from travel essentials to Disney-themed souvenirs.

It is a convenient spot for grabbing that last-minute gift or memento to remember your Wild West adventure.
