How to get around the Universal Orlando parks from the Aventura Hotel

2 min read

Booking a stay at Universal Orlando’s Aventura Hotel brings two big perks for guests: early park admission (an extra hour of rides every morning) and complimentary transport to all the parks.

It’s the latter we’re going to focus on here, as we look at how guests can go between the parks and their resort.

The good news is, whether you’re heading to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, or Volcano Bay - or in a few months Epic Universe - there can be more than one option.

Let’s take a closer look.

Bus shuttles

Universal Orlando’s Aventura resort lays on complimentary shuttle buses from just outside the hotel’s main lobby

These buses operate between the hotel and all the Universal Orlando theme park attractions - Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Volcano Bay and, later this year, the brand new Epic Universe park.

The shuttle bus services are complimentary and depart from the hotel at regular intervals.

Walk to the resorts

For those who enjoy a stroll, it is possible to walk to the parks from Aventura Hotel.

Guests take a well-marked walking path, alongside Universal Orlando’s park waterway. It is known as the Garden Walk and it links Aventura to Sapphire Falls, Royal Pacific, and eventually leads to CityWalk.

The path emerges by Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville restaurant, and from there it is not far at all from the entrances of either the Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios theme parks.

From Aventura, the walk takes about 20 minutes and it is a lovely way to start your day - so long as you’re not in a rush.

To Volcano Bay

One of the major advantages of staying at Aventura is it’s very close to Universal’s Volcano Bay.

The top-rated water park is just a short walk (a few minutes) from the hotel, via its a walkway directly to the park entrance.

It makes it easy and convenient for families who want to enjoy some water fun without hopping on a bus.

Thoughts …

A definite bonus is that all the Universal park transport is complimentary, and completely free for hotel guests.

Whether you take the shuttle or enjoy the scenic walk, you won’t have to worry about waiting for Ubers or paying any extra charges.

Aventura isn’t the closest of all the Universal Orlando resorts to the theme parks, but certainly isn’t far away either.
