Travel days can be stressful enough, but as an ‘on-site’ Disneyworld hotel Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is straightforward to get to.
Whether you're flying, driving, or taking the train, the value Disneyworld resort offers several convenient transportation options for families, groups and couples.
Here, we take a closer look at the most common means of transport to the resort.
Nearest Airport: Orlando International Airport (MCO)
If you’re flying in, the nearest airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO), located about 25 miles from Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.
The transfer time is typically 30 to 40 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
MCO is a major international airport, so there are lots of car hire providers if you want to drive yourself.
If you prefer to start your trip in the passenger seat, MCO allows pick-ups from ride-sharing apps like Uber and Lyft from Terminal A, Level 2.
For Uber/Lyft transfers you can expect to pay around $35 to $50 for a one-way trip from the airport to Disney’s All-Star Movies resort.
Sadly, Disney no longer offers the ‘Magical Express’ coach transfer service from MCO, but there are several private transfer operators running from MCO to all the Disney resorts. So whatever you need - from a bus, mini-bus, or a sedan - there are helpful websites to book your pick-up before you leave home.
By train to Orlando station
If you’re traveling by train, the nearest Amtrak station is Orlando Station, located about 20 miles from the resort. The transfer time is approximately 25 to 30 minutes by car.
A recent addition to guests’ travel options is Florida's Brightline rail service is a high-speed rail line connecting the Orlando International Airport (MCO) with other major cities in Florida, particularly Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.
So this may allow more flexibility if your plans see you flying into another Florida airport, or, if you’re planning a split-stay trip.
There are no complementary shuttle services from the train station to the Disney resorts, but all the airports usual transfer options are available.
Driving to Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
For guests that prefer to drive, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is well-connected by road.
All-Star Movies is located just off Interstate 4, which means it has good road access by car.
Guests can park on site, and it is complimentary for hotel guests during their stay.
Once parked, guests can leave the car in the resort car park and make use of Disney’s internal shuttle system to get around the parks without needing your car.
Multiple options for a stress-free arrival
Whether you’re flying in, taking the train, or driving, getting to Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is (relatively) simple and hassle-free.
With a range of transport options available and helpful on-site shuttles to get you around Disney’s attractions, you can focus on enjoying your magical vacation from the moment you step foot out of the airport.
