Fans of the Harry Potter’s Wizarding World can now get their hands on the ‘next-generation’ interactive wands at Universal Orlando.
The new wands - which have extra features and work in some new ‘magic’ locations around the theme parks - went on sale at the start of March.

Linked to the Universal Play App, the wands allow guests to create their own profile, join a Hogwarts house, a Patronus, and set scores in a daily ‘House Cup’. The wands also use lights and haptic effects to enhance the guest experience.
There are five new locations across Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley - (1) in the Dueling Club Tent (2) in the Owl Post (3) at the Knockturn Alley Staircase (4) at Ariadne’s Spinners and (5) in the Knockturn Alley Sky.

These new-generation wands will be ready for interactions at the Epic Universe park, where the Wizarding World’s new Ministry of Magic park area will have fourteen magic experiences for the wands.
Guests can buy the new generation wands in the Universal Orlando parks, at Ollivanders Wand Shops as well as other Universal locations.
