The Riverside Park Hotel offers a good variety of room options, from comfortable standard rooms, flexible family rooms, romantic retreats, and more luxurious adults-only suites.
All room types come with the sort of facilities guests can expect from a domestic four-star hotel.
Standard rooms
The Riverside Park’s standard rooms are comfortable spaces, with either a king-size bed or twin beds.
En-suite bathrooms are stocked with complimentary toiletries, so most guests will be comfortable travelling.
There are enough power outlets, we’d always recommend guests travel with their own USB adapter block - there’s nothing as frustrating as a phone running low on charge during your trip.
Couples deluxe rooms
According to the hotel’s website, the Couples Deluxe rooms allow guests to be immersed in “an enchanting ambiance designed to ignite the flames of passion”. Now, whether the rooms live up to promise, will be between you and trading standards!
What is, for sure, included in the room rate is a king-size bed, a ‘cuddle’ sofa, and a jacuzzi bath with ‘captivating lights and sound’. The rooms also boast a 65-inch TV, coffee machine, and a mini fridge.
Family rooms
For guests travelling with little ones, the Riverside Park Hotel’s family rooms offer extra space.
These rooms come either with a double bed and two singles, or alternative (in limited numbers) as two doubles, for little guests cots/cribs can be available on request.
Upgrades to a ‘superior’ family have other bed options. Some of these larger rooms have a double and up to three singles, and some also have extra screens and headsets for kids.
Bathrooms come with complimentary toiletries.
Family rooms also have extra power outlets to keep devices charged.
Another choice for families are the Riverside’s interconnecting rooms. Popular with bigger families and also group’s with more grown-up children, a pair of interconnecting rooms allow a great balance of space and privacy for a family trip to Wexford.
Balcony rooms
Balcony rooms offer views of the picturesque setting on the bank of the river Slaney, and are a fantastic choice - whether that’s to start your day on the balcony with an al fresco cup of coffee or end your evening sitting with a tipple under the stars.
As well as the private balcony, these spacious rooms come with a king size bed. Double plus twin rooms with balconies are also available.
Also, there’s an en-suite bathroom with toiletries, and (like
additional charges apply) for relaxing nights in the room.
Suites
Riverside Park Hotel offers junior suites and penthouse suites for a more luxurious experience.
Suites are located on their own private, adults-only floor.
Junior suites are spacious and are individually designed (so they may not exactly match what you see on the hotel’s website). They comprise a king-size bed plus a separate seating area. These rooms have more advanced ‘mood’ lighting, coffee pod machines, and minifridges which, on some booking packages, are pre-stocked for guests.
The bathrooms are more roomy than in other room categories - and they’re stocked with more high-end toiletries. They have double rainfall showers and a jacuzzi bath.
The Penthouse Suite takes luxury up a notch with even more living space, plush furnishings, and premium views.
Suites have several power outlets and USB charging points.
Room service and other amenities
At Riverside Park, room service is available for all room categories (charged to your room bill) with the menu comprising options from the on-site restaurants.
A laundry service is also offered at an extra charge, and rooms are cleaned daily.
