Things to do in Dublin during your stay at The Spencer Hotel

1 min read

The Spencer Hotel’s prime quayside position on the Liffey, on walking distance of most of Dublin’s top attractions, means guests staying here won’t go short of things to do.

Nevertheless, this high-quality hotel has all the facilities that you’d expect from a 4-star City centre hotel.

Pool, spa, and gym

The Spencer’s 18-meter swimming pool is spacious enough for a proper swim, or just to relax and unwind. There’s also a jacuzzi, sauna and lounge seating for guests to chill out.

Guests looking to be pampered will find the Viola Day Spa on the Spencer’s lower ground floor, where the treatments include a “Caviar Spa Ritual” and massages.

Spa packages are not included in hotel booking, and come at an extra charge, so it’s worth planning ahead.

The Spencer has a fully equipped gym that has everything needed to keep up with your workout routine - whether its cardio or weightlifting.

Night-time entertainment

In the evenings, the hotel occasionally hosts live music and themed nights whilst the bar maintains a lively atmosphere.

Of course, with its City centre location very few of the Spencer’s guests stay here simply to hang out at the hotel.

The Three Arena is just a short walk away, whilst the Bord Gais Theatre is 5 minutes across the river in one direction, and in the other is Dublin’s famed (or notorious) Temple Bar area for live music, bars and restaurants.

At the same time, The Spencer on right next to the Spencer Docks Luas station, connecting the hotel to most if not all of the City’s popular dining, entertainment and tourist spots.
