Universal Orlando has now officially opened the Terra Luna Resort, its second of three new hotels on the doorstep of the Epic Universe park - which opens in just two months’ time.

Terra Luna, which has 750 guest rooms, opened its doors for the first time on Tuesday 25 March.

The hotel is designated as a ‘Prime Value’ category - which means it will be among the more affordable Universal Orlando Resort hotels. Its rooms are comfortable, modern, but without over-the-top features or a big price tag.

Rooms come with two queen beds, themed windows, and space-inspired décor.

Guests staying at the resort receive Early Park Admission and other benefits including shuttle transportation to the Universal theme parks and merchandise delivery (from the in-park stores direct to the hotel, to save you carrying your shopping around with you.

This modern resort also has a good selection of on-site amenities that, in the recent past, guests would not have expected from theme park hotels at this price point - amenities such as the pool with hot tub, fitness center, games room, and a Universal Orlando Resort Store.

Terra Luna opens with a number of dining options that include the Omega Cafe and Market, Luna Bar, and the Moonrise Grill and Moonrise Bar.

Today’s new opening comes as a prelude to the grand opening of Epic Universe on 22 May.

Universal, meanwhile, detailed ‘bundle and save’ offers for guests booking hotel and theme park tickets in a vacation package via its website.
