Planning your travel day into Universal’s Surfside Inn and Suites in Orlando?

Flying in

The closest airport to Surfside Inn and Suites is Orlando International Airport (MCO), located around 16 miles away. Depending on traffic, you can expect the transfer time to be about 20-25 minutes. 

If you’re using an Uber or Lyft, the fare from MCO to Universal Surfside Inn and Suites would be between $30 to $40.

By train to Orlando station

If you’re traveling by train, the nearest Amtrak station is Orlando Station, located about 10 miles from the resort. The transfer time is approximately 15 to 20 minutes by car. 

A recent addition to guests’ travel options is Florida's Brightline rail service is a high-speed rail line connecting the Orlando International Airport (MCO) with other major cities in Florida, particularly Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. 

So this may allow more flexibility if your plans see you flying into another Florida airport, or, if you’re planning a split-stay trip.

There are no complimentary shuttle services from the train station to the Universal resorts, but all the airports usual transfer options are available.

Guests driving to Surfside Inn will find it to be conveniently located just off Universal Boulevard, with easy access to Interstate 4 (I-4), making it a straightforward drive from the airport or other parts of Orlando.

The resort does offer on-site parking, for hotel guests it costs $19 per night - day parking for people not staying at the hotel costs $50.
