Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel: Super dining at Disneyland Paris

4 min read

Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, as one of Disneyland Paris’ top resorts, has several highly rated food spots and dining experiences.

Whether you’re craving a laid-back snack, an all-you-can-eat buffett, or fine dining, this super-themed hotel has you covered.

Beyond the resort, there’s a wide selection of restaurants at the Disneyland Paris Village.

The Manhattan Restaurant

This Italian-inspired gem takes you right to New York’s Little Italy, but with some Marvel touches - including a stunning Asgard chandelier that helps set an epic scene.

Guests can expect Italian classics like creamy risotto, fresh pasta, and a selection of high class dishes.

The a la carte table-service restaurant offers a set price menu for three-courses - €55 per adult without wine, and €75 per adult with wine included, whilst for kids (ages 3 to 11) its €30 per child.

This is a premier Disneyland Paris dining experience, even if the set menu price helps with affordability, nevertheless, for a family of four it is still on the pricier side.

Those who enjoy Italian cuisine with a splash of Marvel, will find this to be a unique experience that’s worth the splurge.

Guest reviews rate this restaurant highly, and its a frequently recommended choice.

Downtown restaurant: A marvellous buffet

Love Marvel and fond of food? … then the Downtown restaurant’s buffett is certainly for you.

Designed to evoke a New York setting, and with Marvel artwork throughout, the dinning room has an appealing ambience, though despite its popularity it is not an especially large restaurant. Guests may find it tricky booking a table, so it is recommended you try claim one early.

The all-you-can-eat buffet brings together flavors from Chinese, American, and Italian cuisines as well as some excellently themed Marvel deserts.

At €55 per head for adults and €30 for children, it is not the cheapest dining at Disneyland Paris but a wide selection of food, enough to satisfy all tastes, and the all-you-can-eat nature of the buffett makes this a good value dining experience for guests.

Skyline Bar: Cocktails with a super view

Want to wind down after a day at the parks, but want to keep some Marvel magic going into the evening, then the Skyline Bar is perhaps just the place for you.

Guests can try superhero-inspired cocktails whilst being transported into the New York skyline, with a view directy upon Stark Tower - eagles eyes will likely spot a fly-by from Iron Man himself.

Prices are toward the higher end of what guests may be used to at home, but this bar is an experience in itself.

Guest reviews rave about the drinks and the ambiance here, and is is clearly a popular choice for those looking for a retreat away from the parks.

Bleaker Street

The Bleaker Street Lounge, just of the hotel lobby, is a Doctor Strange inspired bar and coffee shop that also serves up salads, cheeses, toasted brioche, margarita flatbreads, beef jerky and roasted potato snacks.

For those with a sweeter tooth, Bleaker Street also has a selection of pastries and macarons, cream brulee and sorbets.

There's a range of Doctor Strange themed signature cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), as well as a generally well-stocked bar and classic cocktails, beers, ciders, wines, Champagne, soft drinks and fruit juices.

The depth of menu and the cool but subtle theming does a great job of elevating what could otherwise be overlooked as a standard hotel lobby bar - if you can fit it in your park itinerary it is well worth a visit, even if its only while you wait to check in, or your sat waiting for the dreaded departure to the airport.
