Disney World’s Riviera Resort, a Disney Vacation Club property, has plenty to keep its guests relaxed and entertained during their downtime away from the theme parks.
Whether its the European-inspired water of the two swimming pools, the resort’s fitness center, or family fun in the evening, there’s likely something for every group that stays here.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s on offer for guests staying at the Riviera Resort.
Pools and fitness
Disney’s Riviera Resort has two pool areas, both European-inspired.
The Riviera Pool is a family-friendly spot, with poolside umbrellas providing shade. It also features a waterslide and a kid's water play area, known as ‘S’il Vous Play’ which includes a fountain featuring characters from Fantasia.
Over at the second pool, the Beau Soleil Pool has a quieter and more relaxing vibe.
Riviera’s gym Athlétique Fitness Center is open around the clock and has cardio machines as well as strength training equipment.
The resort also has a walking and jogging path for guests who prefer to stretch their legs in the outdoors.
Nighttime activities
For some evening fun, the resort offers Movies Under the Stars, where families can watch Disney classics outdoors, free of charge.
Plus, don’t miss the nightly Riviera Resort Campfire, where guests can get together to toast marshmallows and s’mores.
Riviera’s Voyageur’s Lounge is designed to showcase European elegance, and its a popular place for guests to unwind after a day at the parks.
There’s also the Eventi room, which offers wine tasting and painting sessions for adults looking for a more relaxed vibe.
