Who is to say whether it is the best, but Cork International Hotel’s breakfast is certainly one of my favourites.
Eggs and omlettes cooked to order, fresh pancakes for the kids (and adults alike), and a great selection of food stocked and topped up regularly - but, hey, its not all about breakfast.
The hotel, between its bar and restaurant, also serves up hearty, vibrant bar bites and a tasty evening dinner menu.
New Yorker Bar & Restaurant
The New Yorker Bar & Restaurant is the hotel’s signature dining spot, with lunch and dinner menus. It offers a laid-back yet stylish atmosphere.
The menu has variety, with both classic Irish dishes and international favourites. Entrees are priced between €17 to €23.
Well suited to an airport hotel, the New Yorker caters to guests’ taste buds at all times of the day.
Grab-and-go breakfast
For those with early flights or packed schedules, the hotel offers a grab-and-go breakfast option. It is available from 4 am to 7 am, and includes pastries, fruit, yogurt, and hot drinks to start your day right.
This is an affordable option and an alternative to eating at the airport.
Room service
Guests can also dine in their room, with the hotel’s room service menu made up of soups and fresh-cut sandwiches, or tasty chicken wings, burgers or even steak.
Dining in Cork
Just a short drive away, nearby options range from local pubs serving traditional dishes to contemporary eateries offering international flavours. Prices vary, but Cork’s dining options ensure something for every budget.
Among the highlights, for foodies, Cork’s English Market and the Marina Market are not to be missed.
