Guests staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort are in for a treat when it comes to dining.
From casual bites to fine dining, there’s something for everyone here.
Also, when it comes to location there’s barely anywhere better on Disney World property - guests can walk or get the monorail to Magic Kingdom with all its dining options, or head to EPCOT where a whole world of eating and drinking awaits.
And that’s before all that’s on offer a bus ride away at Disney Springs.

California Grill
California Grill is the resort’s top dining experience, elevated at night by the Magic Kingdom fireworks view from the hotel’s 15th floor.
Guest reviews score California Grill highly, praising in particular its ambience and food quality.
Sushi and wood-fired pizzas are frequently recommended by guests.
Chef Mickey’s
Chef Mickey’s is home to one of Disney World’s favourite character dining meals.
Here, it is an all-you-can-eat buffet that’s well stocked with American favourites including New York Strip Loin, baked mac ‘n’ cheese, and freshly carved meats.
It’s not the cheapest meal you’ll enjoy on Disney property though, priced at $69 per adult and $44 per child.
During your meal there’ll be visits, table-to-table, by Mickey, Minnie and friends.
Chef Mickey’s breakfast buffet is also a firm favourite, at $58 per adult and $37 per child.
Steakhouse 71: Modern Comfort Food
Steakhouse 71 is a modern, classy steak restaurant that opened in 2021, marking the hotel’s 50th year anniversary.
The dinner menu has a good range of starters, and it serves up cuts from a 6 ounce fillet mignon, to a 10 ounce New York Strip, to a 14 ounce pork bone-in rib chop. The steaks are priced between $32 to $42.
Alternatively, the menu also has a number of entrees besides steak, and a kids menu including chicken, burgers and fish.
If you can’t get a table, the Steakhouse 71 Lounge is a great spot for walk-ins serving up a limited menu, cocktails, wines and beers.
Contempo Café
For guests needing a quick bite, Contempo Café is the go-to for casual dining. With grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, and pizzas, it's perfect for families on the move.
Deserts here are notable favourites among guests.
Sand Bar, Outer Rim, and Cove bar
Guests can also find a casual spot to grab a drink or snack at either the Sand Bar, Outer Rim, and Cove bar.
The Sand Bar and Cove are poolside bars offer bites like burgers and hot dogs.
Meanwhile, Outer Rim at the top of the resort is perfect for unwinding with a cocktail whilst taking in the spectacular view across Bay Lake.
Disney Springs

Themed family favourites, T-Rex Café and Rainforest Café combine immersive and interactive dining (one dinosaur themed, the other set in a jungle). Both menus are stacked with American classics, and lots of choice for kids.
Morimoto Asia is a top notch Asian restaurant offering very tasty favourites such as sushi, giant spring rolls and Peking duck. It serves up fine-dining twist on traditional flavours.
